How To Apply: Miracle + Mud is designed to work on dry hooves or wet. If you’re working the mud into very dry hooves, you are going to need to spray some water onto the hoof and mud to help the hoof absorb these elements within the mud and to help allow the mud to stay where needed. If the clay begins to crumble on the hoof, a few sprays of water is needed!

After the mud is applied, some of it will wipe off in the dirt but it will remain in the deep holes and crevices within the hoof sometimes up to eight weeks. During this time, the hoof will continue to soak in these fungus fighting ingredients as this specially formulated clay seals the hoof, preventing the thrush-forming microorganism to evade the hoof once again.

As a result, the infected areas of the hoof stay sealed and protected allowing the combined Miracle + Mud mixture to fight the hoof rot infection while helping the internal structures of the hoof heal and grow out.
